In 2013, the United Nations launched a large scale survey enabling people to vote for the next Sustainable Development Goals, set to inherit the Millennium Development Goals in 2015. Seed worked with the UN on developing the online and offline mechanisms to collect votes. This was an international effort with multiple offline volunteers reaching out to populations across the world who have no access to technology, in addition to an online survey collecting votes from the general population, ensuring maximum representation. At the end, close to 10 million votes were cast and the results heavily informed the enactment of the current Sustainable Development Goals. I worked on multiple aspects of the project, from the identity design, development of the prototypes for the vote collecting platform, to the offline surveys translated in multiple languages. These are images of the identity design.
